A thin greyness
this morning. The temperature is now about forty degrees. More sadness in New York City - an airliner crashed yesterday. A weight of sorrow, so much to bear.
And rain. Slow and steady and cold. Everything drips with it. Colors change with the wetness. The black asphalt is bluer. The grey of Stellmacher's elevator has darkened. The red tail hawk just north of Fairwater is the color of absence today. Everything changes in the somberness.
