Good advice -- and if you should happen to throw those stones in such a way that they skip across the purple and gold of quiet water at sunset, you are singing about the way our little lives fit into eternity, which is pretty good singing, after all.

Yes, it would be terrific if the throwing of stones ended with rocks skipping across the water! Good singing indeed.
