The streets are wet this morning. A storm rolled through last night. It must have knocked out power at 3:00 a.m. It is not raining now. Almost a wispy gauze floating above the pond. Coming home from work yesterday I was shocked by the green of a field of peas. I had not even noticed that they'd broken the surface of the soil and all of a sudden it was a bright and massive green, the whole large field of it. Out in the country this morning a haze wants to hang down. It dulls the edges of everything. Soil in wet fields still shines. Another field of peas has just broken the surface. Part of a tree is down at the Sina pig farm. The clouds, they barely move.
