T MINUS 11 WEEKS
The last day of the last week is the marathon itself. I am training to walk it.
Requirements this week: Day 1 = 4 mi.; Day 2 = 5 mi.; Day 3 = 4 mi.; Day 4 = 11 mi.
July 11
Training walk: 6 mi., 1 hr., 24 min., 43 sec.
First day of use for the Camelbak water pack. It worked as it is supposed to, and did not present a burden nor any rubbingh or chafing. I will use the Camelbak on my training walks as I continue my training.
July 12
Training walk: 10 mi., 2 hr., 19 min., 18 sec.
July 13
Maintenance walk with Mary, 4 miles.
July 14
Training walk: 6 mi., 1 hr., 22 min., 20 sec.
July 15
Maintenance walk with Mary, 4 miles.
I delayed Day 4 training because of the hot weather and a bruised and blistered heel (the right heel, this time). See July 18th.
