Okay, folks, if you haven't been there yet
to read the posts for Qarrtsiluni's "Finding Home" theme, now is the time to go. The post marking the halfway point went up last night. Lorianne and I, the co-editors for "Finding Home," are closing off submissions with a total of nineteen or twenty already planned.
Go over now and see the first ten, work by Dale, Karl Elder, Lorianne, Patry Francis, Diogenes, Rachel Barenblat, Tom Montag, Trix, Ruth, and Fred Garber. There's some surprising and remarkable stuff there. And the remaining work, to be posted over the next week and a half or so, will be equally intriguing.
Guaranteed.
Putting "Finding Home" together, Lorianne and I had the joy of working with some amazing and remarkable folks. Thanks to all of them.
Thanks to Lorianne, too, who was - not incidentally - the best co-editor you could imagine.
Awww, shucks, Tom. You know I don't know what to do with this sort of mushy stuff! ;-)
I still intend to buy you a beer *in person* one of these days. Someday, someday...

Lorianne--We aren't brought up very well in terms of accepting even well-earned compliments, I know that. So a quick lesson, hey. Say "Thank you" graciously and smile a lot. You earned the compliment: ENJOY IT!

Congratulations to both of you for putting together the best "issue" of qarrtsiluni yet!

Thanks, Dave! I don't know if I would use the word best, but I will say we are VERY pleased with the posts we are putting up. Those who contributed responded to the "Finding Home" theme in many and wonderful ways. It seems like a theme people can get hold of.
